Ageing is something that is denied to far too many yet an incredible amount who have that privilege seem intent on wanting to erase all visible signs of it.
Why is it that a man becomes 'distinguished' yet a woman simply looks old? Why have we, as a society, fallen for the notion that women need to erase any visible evidence from her face of a life lived? Why is it also that women are so judgemental when it comes to how other women look? Like seriously!
There is nothing wrong with the roadmarks of our life being in evidence. Yes, we want to soften, plump and rejuvenate some of those roadmarks but do we really need to erase every single sign of it? What is this obsession saying to the kids of today? Unless you are smooth, shiny, blemish and line free that you are lesser than? Why is it now normal that the face of a majority of women in movies or TV shows does not change irrespective of the emotion she is feeling yet a man half her age is able to move every part of his face? Why do we feel the need to use filters and photoshop any irregularity away?
Unless you are an identical twin, no-one is cast in the same mould as you. Own that shit! Embrace it, love it and live it!

Well said! Totally agree. I read recently that wrinkles mean you laughed, grey hair means you cared and scars mean you lived. I’ve got it all so how fortunate am I!!!! 🌻🤣
